Two Florida mothers made a decision most parents hope they’ll never face: they called the police on their own children. Their sons — just 12 and 13 years old — are now facing serious charges after deputies say the pair caused more than $50,000 in damage to the library at Friendship Elementary School in Deltona.
According to the Volusia Sheriff’s Office, the boys first slipped onto the school grounds during the day, then returned later that night with destruction on their minds. Once inside the library, investigators say the pre-teens launched into a full-blown rampage — tossing books across the floor, knocking over furniture, scribbling graffiti on doors, and leaving the media center in complete disarray.....
