New details have emerged in the tragic death of 20-year-old University of Alabama student James “Jimmy” Gracey, whose body was recovered in Barcelona after a days-long search. Gracey had been in Spain for spring break with friends and was last seen around 3 a.m. leaving the Shôko beachfront nightclub near the Mediterranean. His body was later found near Port Olímpic, confirming the worst fears of his family and friends.
A local witness has since shared chilling details, saying Gracey was seen walking toward a rocky area near Somorrostro Beach. Authorities believe he may have fallen into the sea and drowned, though an autopsy is still pending. His wallet was also found floating in the water. Police continue investigating his final movements.
