The phone call came on a typical Saturday afternoon while Rebecca was cleaning up a Lego battlefield her children had created. The name on the screen made her pause—Brian Collins, her husband Daniel’s boss.

Assuming it was about work, Rebecca answered. Daniel had told her he would be working all weekend on an urgent project. But Brian’s confusion was palpable.
