The Raw Farm Crisis: FDA Issues Warning Amid Outbreak
A significant public health concern has emerged as federal and state authorities investigate a multistate E. coli outbreak. The infections have been tied to raw cheddar cheese produced by Raw Farm, a California-based dairy manufacturer.
Between September 2025 and February 2026, at least seven individuals across California, Florida, and Texas reported severe illness after consuming the product. Most concerning to health officials is the demographic affected: the majority of cases involve children aged three and younger.
The Stand-off:
The FDA’s Stance: Federal officials have urged an immediate voluntary recall to prevent further infections.
The Company’s Response: Raw Farm has currently declined the recall request, maintaining that internal testing has not confirmed the presence of E. coli in their batches.....
