Inside were years of financial records, property deeds, and documents with suspicious signatures. As she sifted through the papers, a disturbing pattern emerged—her parents had been draining Grandpa’s retirement accounts for years.
“They told everyone I was confused,” Grandpa said quietly. “They told the lawyer I was declining. Then they tried to have me declared incompetent.”
