Billionaire Heiress Fights Back After Husband Steals $3B Empire
The Betrayal at the Funeral
The scent of funeral flowers still lingered in the Highland Hills mansion when Naomi Albright realized her husband had already stolen her inheritance. Less than 24 hours after her father’s burial, Gavin Barrett tossed a thick folder onto the marble table, his voice dripping with contempt.
“Your father has been dead for less than twenty-four hours and you have already signed to give me his company,” he said. “What a shame you never learned to read before trusting your husband.”
Naomi, still dressed in black, stared at the documents. Her signature was unmistakable—yet she had no memory of signing them. The truth hit her like a physical blow: two weeks earlier, burning with fever, she had trusted Gavin when he presented “urgent banking documents.” Instead, he had tricked her into signing away her 60% stake in Ross Albright’s $3 billion empire.
“You deceived me,” she whispered.
“I made it easier for you to make a decision you would never have had the courage to make,” Gavin replied, without a trace of remorse.
The Brutal Eviction
As Naomi confronted him, Gavin’s mother, Celina Barrett, watched with a smirk. She had already changed out of her mourning clothes into a bright red dress, wearing the pearl necklace Naomi had given her for Christmas.
“The company is bankrupt,” Gavin declared. “Your father left billions in debt. If you don’t transfer your shares, the banks will tear the group apart.”
Before Naomi could respond, Celina lunged at her, slamming her head into a heavy wooden table. Gavin simply watched, then ordered security to drag her out—barefoot, with nothing but her soaked blouse and a bleeding forehead.
“Get her out,” he commanded. “No phone, no cards, and no suitcase. This house no longer belongs to her.”....
