Susan’s family shared that she passed away peacefully in Miami, surrounded by her loved ones. Throughout her career, she made appearances on popular TV shows such as The Mac Davis Show, Sonny and Cher, and The Brady Bunch Variety Hour. Susan’s dedication to her craft was evident in every role she took on.

Her most famous role as Rydell High cheerleader Patty in 1977 made her a household name. Patty was known for her enthusiasm and school spirit. From leading cheer chants to doing the splits, Patty’s character brought energy to every scene she was in.

Susan is survived by her son Adam Josephs and daughter Samantha Mansfield. She will also be dearly missed by her sister Linda, her partner Al, and her four grandchildren. The outpouring of love and condolences from fans on social media is a testament to the impact she had on their lives.

Susan’s passing comes as another blow to the cast of GREASE, as it has been less than two years since the death of her co-star Olivia Newton-John.
