Nicollette Sheridan became a familiar face to television audiences as the sharp-witted Paige Matheson on the long-running drama Knots Landing. She later reached an even wider public as Edie Britt, the glamorous and unapologetically bold character on Desperate Housewives, a role that made her one of the show’s most memorable figures.
Sheridan joined Knots Landing in 1986 and remained on the series for seven years. Before her success in prime time, she appeared in films, including The Sure Thing, where she played the romantic lead opposite John Cusack.
