Harris Seeking Counsel From Hillary Clinton After Loss To Trump: Report

Posted on 28 January 2025 By tony

Kamala Harris’s political future remains uncertain following her defeat to Donald Trump. She has been consulting with family and close allies, including Hillary Clinton, about her next steps. Some speculate Harris may run for governor of California next year, while others suggest she could aim for the presidency again in 2028.

Despite her election loss, Harris remains focused on her political career. In her farewell address as vice president, she emphasized that her work isn’t over and she wouldn’t “go quietly into the night.” After Biden withdrew from the 2024 race, he endorsed Harris, making her the Democratic nominee, though some saw it as an uncompetitive move.

Meanwhile, Trump has taken action on energy policy, signing a series of executive orders aimed at increasing fossil fuel production and declaring an “energy emergency.” His orders focus on expanding mining for critical minerals and fast-tracking energy infrastructure, though they may face legal challenges.
