Donald Trump abruptly ended his speech due to a medical emergency

According to the White House, the girl, identified as Dr. Oz’s 11-year-old granddaughter, briefly lost consciousness during the event. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt quickly brought the briefing to a close and asked reporters to leave the room while the family attended to her.

A spokesperson later confirmed she was “doing fine” and had recovered. “A minor family member fainted during Dr. Oz’s swearing-in ceremony in the Oval Office,” the statement read. “We are glad to report she is doing well.”

The sudden interruption added an unexpected twist to what was meant to be a celebratory occasion for Dr. Oz and his family.
