At eight months pregnant with twins, a woman was violently attacked in her own kitchen by her sister-in-law, who attempted to steal $150,000 left for the unborn children. The Trust Fund That Sparked the Attack
The victim, whose name has not been disclosed, was expecting twins, Sophie and Lucas, when her husband, Ryan Brooks, left for Singapore to finalize a major construction contract. Before departing, Ryan placed $150,000 into a protected trust for the twins’ medical care, childcare, and future education.
