One of her most memorable moments came in a popular Bugle Boy Jeans commercial, where she drove through the desert in a black Ferrari and delivered the famous line: “Excuse me, are those Bugle Boy jeans you’re wearing?” After establishing herself as a successful model, Schofield moved to the United States and transitioned into acting. She became widely known for her role as Laurel Ellis in the iconic primetime drama Dallas, appearing in 12 episodes during the show’s 11th season.

In July 2024, Schofield revealed that she had been diagnosed with cancer that had spread to her brain. She remained open with fans about her health journey, sharing updates about her treatments and undergoing surgery in January to remove a nasal tumor. Although the procedure was successful, she later shared that she was still awaiting further tests to determine whether additional treatment would be necessary.
