What the “Living Nostradamus” Predicts for Donald Trump in 2026

Posted on 3 January 2026 By tony

Brazilian mystic Athos Salomé — often referred to by his followers as the “Living Nostradamus” — has turned his attention to U.S. politics, offering predictions about former President Donald Trump and the political landscape in 2026.

Salomé, 38, who previously gained attention for warnings directed at the British Royal Family, suggests that Trump could face increasing political challenges as the year unfolds. According to his forecast, Trump’s public support may soften, particularly as Democratic voters become more energized ahead of the midterm elections.

He predicts that Republicans could lose control of at least one chamber of Congress in 2026, citing declining approval ratings, unresolved legislative priorities, and the historical tendency for governing parties to face setbacks during midterm elections. If that scenario unfolds, Salomé believes Trump would be forced to rely more heavily on executive orders and administrative authority rather than congressional cooperation — a governing approach he describes as “rule by pen.”

Despite these obstacles, Salomé says Trump would continue to project strong leadership publicly. However, he foresees growing unease within Republican ranks behind the scenes, as party members weigh the political risks and electoral costs associated with the midterm cycle.

According to the mystic’s predictions, key issues defining Trump’s agenda in 2026 would include border security, trade disputes, and opposition to what he views as judicial overreach and entrenched federal bureaucracy.

Salomé also offers insight into the role of First Lady Melania Trump, predicting she would maintain a low public profile. Rather than engaging directly in politics, he suggests she would focus on preserving stability and carefully managing symbolic moments of the presidency, acting more as a quiet steward than a public political figure.

Overall, Salomé argues that Trump’s greatest challenge in 2026 would not stem from legal or personal matters, but from navigating a less cooperative Congress — a situation that could limit legislative influence while pushing greater reliance on unilateral executive action.
