A brief encounter between two strangers in an elevator turns into a moment of unexpected humor.
As the elevator begins its descent, a man casually strikes up a conversation with a woman beside him.
“Where are you headed today?” he asks.
“I’m on my way to donate blood,” she replies.
Curious, the man follows up. “Do they pay you for that?”
“About twenty dollars,” she says.
The man nods, then adds with a hint of pride, “Interesting. I’m heading to make a different kind of donation, and they compensate around one hundred dollars.”
Without another word, the woman steps out of the elevator, clearly unimpressed.
The following day, fate brings the two together once again in the same elevator.
Smiling in recognition, the man says, “Looks like we keep running into each other. Where to today?”
The woman glances at him, says just two words—“Same place”—and leaves the rest to the imagination.
