Moths, rough surfaces, and wear and tear
Belts or zippers rubbing against fabric
Unzipped garments in the washer
Unclasped bras or overloaded machines
Chlorine bleach weakening fabrics

Zip garments before washing
Use bra bags or fasten clasps
Turn delicate items inside out
Avoid bleach—try vinegar or baking soda
Repel moths with lavender or mint
Stay clear of abrasive surfaces
No-Sew Hole Repair Method:
You’ll need:

Iron
Fusible bonding web
Wax paper
Steps:

Turn clothing inside out and lay it flat.
Cut a small piece of bonding web slightly larger than the hole.
Bring the hole edges together and place the web over it.
Cover with wax paper and iron on the “wool” setting.
Repeat if needed.
The hole will vanish—no needle required!
